Ranita and Peter’s Caversham Wedding

Shooting a New Years Eve wedding was a first for me, but for Peter and Ranita what better way to bring in the new year than with a wedding and party with your closest friends and family.

Peter and Ranita’s pre-wedding shoot was awash with beautiful natural colour, picturesque setting and an idealic location. This shoot was on par with their wedding photos so a few had to be included.

On the big day, a relaxed but slightly giggly Ranita was a pleasure to shoot. Getting ready she couldn’t contain her excitement and the smile never left her face. Fox and Rabbit had done a beautiful job with the flowers, the colours were a standout.

The ceremony was held at the award winning Caversham House, I have shot many weddings here and its easy to see why it is so popular. The hidden garden was the backdrop for Peter and Ranita’s ceremony, with its own waterfall, renaissance gardens, stone statues and situated right on the Swan River you really could be anywhere in the world.

A giant marquee was home to the reception/NYE party. The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed great food, music, drinks and saw the new year in with a bang complete with sparklers! Definitely one to be remembered.

Thank you to Ranita and Peter and your families. Your wedding was a pleasure to shoot. Doing a new years wedding has been a standout for me so far and I wish you all the best in the future.
