Julie and Neil’s Wedding at UWA’s tropical gardens in Perth

It was a brilliant day to be out and photographing this wedding. The dressing shots were great fun with everyone relaxed and in good spirits. The ceremony was in the tropical gardens at the University of Western Australia and what a beautiful locaton it is. Even in harsh full sunlight, the light is filtered through the tree canopy so you end up with fantastic light for your ceremony photos – I like. The gang were great to work with, very natural – no posed stuff, just let the crew have fun and work around it. It’s just the way I like to work and the results are always better than anything forced. The reception was at the lovely Tsunami restaurant in Nedlands / Dalkeith and the staff did an amazing job decking it out with fairy lights to create a lot of atmosphere. Anyway, without further ado
