Jade and Daniel are a fun loving couple that had some great ideas of the photos they wanted the day I arrived for their wedding.
The day began with the ladies getting ready, rushing about to get their hair and makeup done for the big day. Jade had chosen floor length navy blue dresses for her bridesmaids, perfect for a fall wedding. Jade herself had chosen a beautiful, full gown. The ladies helped Jade finish getting ready before heading to St. Michaels Leederville church where she and Daniel would be married.
The grounds of St. Michaels are absolutely stunning and I was excited to take lots of photos of the happy couple and their wedding party after the ceremony. As a photographer in Perth, I am always happy when the weather decides to play ball and this was one of those days.
After photos at the church it was off for some drinks at the Brown Fox with the wedding party where I was able to get some natural portraits of Jade and Daniel enjoying themselves. I love the antique interiors and the challenge of using them creatively in portraits.
After drinks the wedding party headed to Caversham House in West Swan for the reception with their friends and family. Firstly though, someone in the bridal party suggested we try a “dinosaur run” bridal party image. In an amazing run of luck, a dino appeared right at that moment ! The staff are always amazing at Caversham house and the Italian feast they prepared this time was a highlight.
