Jess and Adam’s Wedding

Jess and Adam’s wedding day just seemed to cruise along effortlessly. It was relaxed and well organised with a welcoming feel for all who attended. The ladies started their day at Rivendell Winery, a stunning venue in the Yallingup region. With gorgeous sweeping cottage gardens and a mud brick-style home with a big verandah overlooking the vineyards. Perfect! Jess was radiant in her Fara Couture dress with her hair beautifully styled by local salon Rapture in Hair. As the ladies left, champagnes in hand, I was eager to head over to the groom and his party.

I arrived at Bay View apartments where Adam and his groomsmen were taking the day in their stride. Not a worry in the world as they goofed around on a skateboard and enjoyed a beer or two. The three groomsmen enjoyed stirring Adam up and it was easy to photography the four of them relaxing and enjoying each others company.

I left the boys to finish getting ready and made my way down to picturesque Meelup Beach in Eagle Bay, Dunsborough.

Jess’ father escorted her down to a grassed area dotted with shady trees. The ceremony overlooked the pristine white sand and crystal clear waters of Eagle Bay. The ceremony had a natural flow to it that matched the serene surroundings.

As the sun dipped towards the Indian Ocean, there was a fantastic opportunity for some unforgettable photos on the rocky outcrop surrounding the bay. Some well placed trees provided a natural frame for some of my favourite pictures of the day.

As the evening closed in we made our way to the reception at Bunkers Beach Cafe. Nestled in the dunes and blending with its natural surroundings this place suited Jess and Adam to a tee. The deck was serenely lit and the relaxed and natural atmosphere from the ceremony flowed through the rest of the evening.
